Accounting and Bookkeeping Services

We utilize the QuickBooks suite of product to manage our Accounting and Bookkeeping services. QuickBooks has a very user-friendly interface allowing you to produce meaningful reports by doing the activities you are already doing: writing checks, invoicing, and paying bills. A properly configured installation of QuickBooks will at the touch of a button produce reports tracking the most important parts of your business. As a Quickbooks Pro Advisor I am able to provide you with best in class accounting service and support enabling you to channel your energy towards managing your business effectively. We offer a very personalized approach as we have found that every business has different needs.

 Payroll Services – We process your payroll as frequently as you require which involves gathering your timesheets/salary data, process and print paychecks, direct deposits, process tax liabilities payment, and producing your end of year W2’s and 1099's.

 General Bookkeeping – This is a packaged service which includes Sales tracking, Accounts receivable processing(including collections), Accounts Payable, Month end and year end reporting.

TFS acts as your accounting department. We are able to track oll of your accounting functions as if we were an in-house employee without the headache of training and retaining a bookeeper. You have complete control over disbursements since you review and sign all checks. As a part of "Month End Reporting" you will receive a comp[lete set of financial statements that will balanced to your bnank account for your review. You will find that TFS is a much more cost effective way to facilitate your accounting and bookeeping needs.

Tax Planning and Preparation Services

We are registered IRS ERO(Electronic Return Originator) and EFTPS(Electronic Federal Tax Payment System) providers. When combined with our accounting service, our full service tax preparation solution gives you a more robust tax consultation as compared to a traditional tax office. Our Tax Planning and Preparation solution offers our clients the ability to predict their tax liabilities throughout the year which increases the accuracy of their tax expense forecast. We are a natural step up from the traditional tax preparation company in that we empower our clients with tax planning to reduce the surprise factor at year end. This in turn reduces the ability of the tax preparation companies to capitalize on your tax overpayments by offering large fees to get fast refunds. We strongly believe in maximizing your tax credits by protecting it against outrageous filing fees.

Our approach to tax planning and preparation is extremely useful to people who have either a small business, self employed, investment property(s), or plan on starting a business. We believe in properly allocating more of your resources toward the growth of your business than to the tax planning and preparation.

Quickbooks Installation/conversion, Support, and Training



A large percentage of our work is our Quickbooks installation conversion. This can be accomplished for the business  that uses a manual process or converting from an older application. During this process we perform the following steps:Initial Interview – We gather information about your company’s finance operations and provide a quick walkthrough. 2 hrs Data Collection – We gather specific data on your accounting process. 2 hrs Installation and testing – We install the software at the close of business. We run reports to validate your balances and a CPA /Chartered Accountant certifies and sign off on the reports. 8hrs User Training – Includes 4 hour training class and 2 hr support on your first day working with the new software. 6 hrs Certification – We track your issues until close of business, resolve issues, and obtain signoff that your installation was a success. Optional outsourced accounting using your data (see bookkeeping section for more details)

The entire process can be accomplished within a week. During this week we come to your place of business and transition your accountant into the new Quickbooks environment. After installation we recommend that you take advantage of our maintenance agreement packages. These cover you in case of a disaster, staff turnover, year end reporting, or any other problems you may experience within your coverage period.

Quickbooks Point Of Sales installation/conversion, Support, and Training

QuickBooks Point of Sale software is a fully featured POS system for the small and medium retailer. It provides full inventory management including the ability to use bar codes (bar code scanner required) for increased accuracy during sales and receiving activities. Also included are fully computerized cash register functions, including end of day procedures, cash drawer counts and daily sales journal. Optionally, you can sync your data with QuickBooks Financial Software, offering you the ability to obtain complete financial reporting in an affordable, easy to use package. Optional outsourced accounting using your POS data (see bookkeeping section for more details).

Technology Consultation

Our software is dependent on your hardware specifications. In many cases we have to install or upgrade your hardware in order to support Quickbooks. We have experience PC and server technicians available to do whatever it takes to get your system up and running. We also have accounts with some of the major hardware carriers such as DELL, and IBM, Let us know how we can assist you with your technology needs.

TFS is also a member of Intuit's Retail Solution Provider Program. This allows TFS to obtain hardware and software at a 20% discount and pass the savings on to you. Prices are only available with the purchase of consulting services from TFS. Each workstation must have its own licensed copy of the software. Please use our contact form to request a specific quote, as there are additional discounts available for multiple copies of the software.
